The Community

SOLID USC is a community based organization that seeks to expand resources to the greater Los Angeles community. USC currently serves a 1.5 mile radius around the university. However, SOLID USC aims to expand this perimeter and bring unlimited resources to an even broader underserved Los Angeles community that extends to: Inglewood, Crenshaw District and Watts among other South Los Angeles neighborhoods.

The Students

SOLID USC is a growing organization with over 25 USC graduate and undergraduate student members and a network of over 100 college students in Southern California. The students are from multiple disciplines including: Social Work, Sociology, Communication, Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Medicine.

The Year Ahead
In under 3 months SOLID USC has cultivated lasting relationships with key Los Angeles organizations and USC partnerships. The organization is aiming to create an even larger resource and support system for the minority community in 2013.
